Queen Anne Porch Project – Traditional Wrought Iron Entrance Porch

Designed and handcrafted to order, this bespoke Queen Anne entrance porch was created to complement the elegant proportions of this beautifully renovated period property. Measuring approximately 2.45m wide by 0.6m deep, the porch provides practical shelter from the elements while enhancing the entrance with timeless architectural ironwork. Finished in RAL 7033 Cement Grey to perfectly match the newly installed entrance door, the completed porch sits naturally against the restored façade, creating a welcoming focal point that is both functional and sympathetic to the building’s character.

Our Queen Anne design is distinguished by its elegant back-to-back vesica piscis detailing, creating a refined geometric pattern inspired by traditional architectural ironwork. Decorative Sunray spandrel brackets add further period character, while cast aluminium cover shoes provide a neat and durable finish at the base of each principal post. Topped with one of our complete Zintec roof systems, the porch offers a clean, traditional appearance with excellent weather protection. Like all of our handcrafted ironwork, every component was thoroughly shot blasted before being carefully primed and finished in our tried and tested two-pack marine quality paint system, providing exceptional durability and long-term corrosion resistance. Handmade in our Welsh workshops from solid steel, each porch is made to order, allowing us to tailor every project to the individual property and create an entrance designed to be enjoyed for many years to come.
