This project was to produce an elegant, continuous metal balustrade based on a previous Fine Iron design.
Elegant, continuous steel staircase balustrade with oak handrails
The design features decorative panels between plain square bar balusters with a superelipse shape going into a twist with another superelipse at the bottom.
The continuous staircase handrail is made from European oak.
The ironwork is finished with a bronze patina using our own painting system.Templates were taken of the finished stone ready for forming the continuous corerails.Formers were made in our workshops to replicate the treads of the staircase on all landings, transition and turns.
Corerail was hot shaped around the formers before being double checked on site.
